In one of the most shocking crimes to hit Delmarva, a hard-working and well-liked woman orchestrated the murder of two men with the help of her daughter and her daughter’s boyfriend. Nothing about this case was simple, with complex timelines, missing men, and horrific discoveries. With the family connections with almost everyone involved in this case and very questionable decisions made by both the mastermind and police, it was still just a matter of time before her plan began to unravel. So let’s explore the murders of John Charbonneau and Billy Sproates, planned by a woman very close to each of them, Linda Charbonneau.

On a day in October, a 13 year-old lost his life at the hands of his sister’s brother. Questions still remain, not about who committed the crime, but rather about the situations that led to the culmination of the death of a young man. Was the killer tried for the right crime? What, if any, crimes were committed beforehand, and in my opinion, why weren’t some of these questions or concerns addressed prior to that day?

This event brought to life the dangers that those who work in manufacturing plants, especially when explosives are involved, face every day. Episode will continue with some of the tragedies that happened around the pits family from Virginia's Eastern shore. the many family members were held in a steam with a judge, a senator, doctors and lawyers making up the professions of most of the male members of the family. but when rash actions are taken and consequences or not thought of, it can lead to a tragedy that affects not only those directly involved, but their families and the community at large. today we will look at a shooting that took place in 1884 involving Dr James Pitts and Dr Thomas Walter.

Denise Rhudy was killed in December of 1999. She was a mother of 4 who was just going to enjoy some time out with some colleagues, but the planning and actions of 3 men took away her future. But one of those men, while not the one who pulled the trigger, should not have been out amongst other citizens of his community. His past actions indicated that he was a criminal with violent tendencies, but some people either refused to see this or cast a blind eye towards his actions. What type of prison sentence is too harsh? Too lenient? And should judges be accountable for bad decisions that were made? Join me as I look at the history of Christopher Johnson.

This episode will cover the murder of Denise Rudy who was killed by Sadiki Garden in December of 1999. His appeal brought up questions of judicial discretion, jury instruction, and the validity of eyewitness identification especially when it's cross-racial identification. As with many cases, we don't know that much about the victim, but she was a mother of four who didn't get to spend Christmas with her children that year, or even meet grandchildren in the future to spend Christmas with them. that was taken away from her, her family, and the holidays were tarnished for the family forever because of a person's decision to shoot a woman during an attempted robbery. Additionally, to be covered in a future episode, someone charged along with Garden had walked away from a work release program, and much of the coverage from this trial stemmed from this in questioning the sentencing of that person to a work release program.
