It will also discuss a case that is heartbreaking to imagine, for both the victim who suffered ongoing pain from a completely avoidable accident to the family left to mourn and to relive the final days of Julie Bailey’s life.

I started to research this case, and found three other cases like it, plus an additional person trying to blackmail the school board, and I ended up going down the rabbit hole. Four people broke a promise - a promise that when you send your kids to school, that all educational professionals will have your child’s, and the community’s at large, best interest in mind. That’s not always the case though, and here are 4 cases of that betrayal, along with a case of attempted blackmail.

This episode will cover the Deep Freeze that hit Delmarva in January of 1977. The Chesapeake Bay FROZE over. To get an overall understanding of the extent of this event, please take a look at the photos linked in the description of the episode. The Bay is around 200 miles long and can range from 2.8 to 30 miles wide, so the cold would have been harsh and long lasting to allow it to freeze. This is an event that I am in awe of and find fascinating.

Today we will cover the second half of a case in the disappearance of Christine Sheddy. Please listen to the first episode titled Buried Secrets (link here https://www.podbean.com/ep/pb-nfkn6-1377a30) This young mother was staying with her “best” friend and disappeared, seemingly into nowhere. Her mother, her biggest champion, never gave up. The search was marred by information found in Christine’s Diary as well as the preconceptions of at least one detective according to Christine’s mother. The answer to Christine's disappearance came to light because one the perpetrators felt a strong sense of fatherly love for his daughter, but did he do this to help Christine's mother or was it because he wanted to extort and use the criminal justice system for his ow wants?
