Today's episode will cover the tragic death of a world-renowned surgeon. Dr. Clifford Turen was making a routine flight from Georgia to Delaware to perform surgery. Due to bad weather and a series of what many will consider our poor decisions, the flight ended in tragedy. But the Legacy does live on as Dr. Turen continues to have an impact on patients even today, acting as a teacher and role model too many students and changing the lives of all of those that he helped.

Renee Holland had just lost her mother, whom she had been taking care of for years.. She felt alone, depressed, and needed something to fill the time. She took a cue from her sister and opened a Facebook account. No one could ever know that such an innocent action could lead to such dire consequences. Part 2 of this episode
This episode will cover a story from my past, of when a little girl that my mother had babysat grew up to kill her mother and stepfather. I played so many afternoons with her until her mother remarried. When my mother hurriedly and anxiously told me one day that a couple was killed and that Lisa had done it, I blocked everything out emotionally. I didn't follow the case or want to know what happened. By this point, I was in my last year of high school, and as internet was in its infancy at that time, I didn't really have a means to look up news on it. Until now.

Today we'll explore the murder of Tessa van Hart. She was murdered and Chincoteague Virginia, and was a delivery driver for a restaurant that my family and I would visit quite often. I wonder if I'd ever seen her leaving the restaurant with an order, or maybe saw her husband in the restaurant as he was a cook there. Tessa was a loving mother who was taken away from her family, her mother, siblings, husband, and children. This was all done because of the impulses and drives of a deranged man the only had violence and control on his mind.

A fight on social media led to her classmates acting out in a violent and concerted way, leading to a rare medical situation that resulted in Amy's death. The outcome of the case may leave many of us conflicted, scared and speechless.

Part 2 - We continue to hearken back to a time when hurricanes are given only numbers and not names, we will review the storm that became known as The Gale of 1878. I often look at the events that I cover as events that have helped shape Delmarva as we know it, but that normally deals with how it impacted individual families and the community emotions see, thoughts, attitudes, and beliefs.
