Every day, men and women serve our country in the armed forces, both on domestic land and overseas. When a single parent is deployed, this can lead to challenges in making sure that their child is well cared for while they are gone. While the military does have requirements to make sure that care and all legal responsibilities are assigned to a trusted person. The parent that is away puts complete trust in the person or persons who care for their most treasured loved one. Sometimes though, tragedy happens, and a parent is half a world away, desperately trying to get back to her baby.
